Lea Porcelain is the Berlin based duo comprised of producer Julien Bracht and singer Markus Nikolaus. They are back with stunning new single “Choirs to Heaven” alongside a mesmerising video directed by Peter Kaaden, with Cezari Zacharewicz as DOP and Lera Abova as the main protagonist of the video, while being under quarantine in Funkhaus Berlin.

The director explains: “Me and the band have been friends for a long time now. During Corona, we were all feeling so isolated. We were all listening to their new songs and we had the idea of putting all these feelings we had into a music video. Choirs to Heaven became the soundtrack to my isolation to be honest… the song and lyrics both fit the situation and mood perfectly. We also luckily had the chance to work with the perfect crew. The location was Berlin’s infamous Funkhaus – and it was such a blessing. I don’t think anybody ever (not even Hollywood!) was allowed to use all these rooms for just one video… and the real star for me was Lera. I really don’t think I have to say a lot about why she was more than a perfect fit for this.”
