After a week spent teasing new music and introducing a mysterious persona dubbed “Frozen Charlatan,” Jack White has officially announced his next studio album: Frozen Charlotte. The self-produced record, which serves as the follow-up to his 2024 release No Name, is slated to arrive on July 10 via Third Man Records. To mark the announcement, White has shared the track “Dollar Bill.”

White’s creative momentum has been relentless since his return in April. Ahead of his appearance on Saturday Night Live, he dropped “G.O.D. and the Broken Ribs” and “Derecho Demonico,” both of which are confirmed to appear on the upcoming LP. His recent output has been as eclectic as it has been prolific; he starred in a surreal music video featuring John C. Reilly as an electrified archbishop, joined Eminem for a high-energy halftime show at a Detroit Lions game, and made a memorable appearance on Stephen Colbert’s public access broadcast, Only in Monroe.

Beyond his musical endeavors, White has remained a fixture in the cultural conversation, frequently engaging in public discourse and maintaining his reputation as one of rock’s most uncompromising figures. As he prepares for the release of Frozen Charlotte, the artist is also gearing up for a supporting tour. He will be joined on the road by his longtime live band, consisting of Patrick Keeler, Dominic Davis, and Bobby Emmett.
