Cautious Clay’s album Deadpan Love. is just around the corner and we get to experience yet another intimate and heart-touching sonic piece of the puzzle. His new track “Wildfire” is a vivid showcase of his vocal abilities. The track kicks off with an almost-stripped-down part mostly driven by his singing and acoustic chords. All of this is later on enriched by a wonderfully muffled kick.
“Wildfire explores the fact that people’s intentions sometimes get lost in translation. Good intention is not always enough to prevent people’s emotions and insecurities from spiraling. Subtle signals or cues can unintentionally ignite emotions – like a brush fire” shares Clay.
