I hope your Monday is going well. But if it’s not, it’s time for a sonic refreshment!

Coyote Island’s latest track is a reggae-inspired vibrant tune, which will make you feel lighter. From the first few seconds, it’s clear – this chillful tune has it all in order to make us smile. Coyote Island, coming from the US east coast scene, effortlessly blends various music influences, to grant us a sun-drenched tune to vibe to this week. Here is what they share:

“Same Thing” came out of a mood, one late night in the studio. It’s about wanting change in the world, and realizing that it starts with ourselves. I wanted to keep the music upbeat and chill, without shying away from this theme. The demo went to my producer Nic Coolidge of Dazy Park, and we finished it off at his studio in Providence. The goal of this song was to combine genres and moods, keep the production organic but polished, and write lyrics that can resonate with a wide audience.

This is the first single off their upcoming EP, to be released this year, so stay tuned.
