The sound of the wailing trumpet on “breathtakingsea” by athena immediately caught my attention and steals the spotlight throughout the track.
I quite enjoyed the bulky presence of the bass as it fills up the low end along with the punchy kick. As the track continues athena peppers in glitch embellishments to create dynamism in the trumpet’s progression – and I found those switches really compelling.
