After two albums in 2019, out via Temporary Residence and two EPs in 2020 (Apartment Songs Vol. 1 and Apartment Loops Vol.1), Italian pianist and musician Bruno Bavota is back with a new track called “Hiraeth” which is out via Believe. We have the pleasure to share the official video. Bavota explains:
“Hiraeth is the third of twelve solo piano works that I’ll release during 2021. Hiraeth is a Welsh word for longing or nostalgia, an earnest longing or desire, or a sense of regret. The feeling of longing for a home that no longer exists or never was. A deep and irrational bond felt with a time, era, place or person. The video has been directed by Linda Russomanno on Mount Faito. Dancer is Alessandra Sorrentino.”
