Danish musician Gustav Berntsen, who records under the moniker GB, has officially signed to the acclaimed label AD 93. The partnership will culminate in the release of his latest studio album, Herzsprung, which is slated to arrive on August 21.
In a unique creative process, Berntsen constructed the lyrics for the new LP by drawing inspiration from copies of Metro, a London daily newspaper. The production of the album was funded in part by the proceeds he earned from his appearance in a 2024 Jaguar ad campaign. Fans can get a first look at the project by listening to the lead single, “Adrenaline,” which is available now.
This release follows Berntsen’s 2024 album, Gusse Music, which was issued through the Copenhagen-based label Posh Isolation as one of its final projects before closing. To support the launch of Herzsprung, the artist has announced a series of tour dates across Europe and the United Kingdom throughout the fall.
