A few months after the collaboration with James Plotkin in 2020, Norwegian composer and musician Benjamin Finger has released a new album called Auditory Colors which is out via KrysaliSound. It features Inga-Lill Farstad (vocals), Lynn Fister (vocals), and Elling Finnanger Snøfugl (Cello on “Kindly Abused”) and was mastered by Francis M. Gri.

Now he’s back with a new release called Exit du Départ which is out tomorrow via German label Oscarson. Pre-order is available here. According to the press release, it includes two new electronic compositions filled with soundscapes from far away lands, vocal loops and hints of a lonely piano, Benjamin Finger takes us on a glorious meditative journey.

This journey, as seen through Benjamin’s eyes, also appears in a limited edition photo book, featuring a very personal selection of pictures taken between 1997- 2020. It´s a collection of photographs from various exhibitions, short films, music videos, television works, documentaries and private trips he did throughout these years.

We have the pleasure to share the new video for the track “Exit du Départ“. It was directed, shot on Super 8 and edited by Frank Benjamin Finger. Filmed on location in Rome, Italy. Watch it below.
