One year after Making A New World, British band Field Music (aka Peter and David Brewis) have announced the release of a new album called  Flat White Moon which will be out on April 23rd via Memphis Industries. Much of the record deals with personal loss and grief, and also the guilt and isolation which comes with that.

And so Field Music have taken on the challenge of representing negative emotions in a way that doesn’t dilute or obscure them but which can still be uplifting. “We’ve always tried to write what’s uppermost in our minds. With Making A New World [last year’s concept album about the aftermath of the First World War] we could sidestep our own lives to a degree. We could immerse ourselves in other people’s stories until we were ready to face the other stuff.”

We already shared “Orion From the Street”;  “No Pressure” is a new excerpt. Watch the official video below.
