Spindle Ensemble are a Bristol-based collective and their music combines elements of Classical, Folk, Improvisation and Jazz. The band includes composer and pianist Daniel Inzani (Yola, Alabaster dePlume, Tezeta), percussionist Harriet Riley (Charles Hazelwood’s Paraorchestra, Bristol Symphony Orchestra), cellist Jo Silverston (Mesadorm) and violinist Caelia Lunniss (Edward Penfold).

We introduced them in 2018 with the debut full-length Bea. Now they have announced the release of the sophomore album called Inkling which will be out on May 27th via Hidden Notes. “Caligo” is the first excerpt and comes as a single with the B-side “Ménilmontant“.
