KUČKA is the project of Los Angeles-based producer and vocalist Laura Jane Lowther. We introduced here with the track “Real” (co-produced by Nosaj Thing) andthe 2021’s debut album called Wrestling. Now she’s back with a new track called “Not There“. “There’s a craving in bones, subtle aching when you’re not there,” she sings over a sparse soundscape, paired with a drifting Yung Lean-like production and collage of fleeting vocals. “’Not There’ was actually inspired by .gif that I came across on tumblr,” she explains.
