The Wldlfe have officially announced that their highly anticipated new studio album, Revolver, is set for release on October 2 via Riser House Records. To celebrate the announcement, the band has treated fans to two brand-new singles, “Lips” and “Parachute,” which are available to stream now.
The upcoming record promises a diverse sonic landscape, drawing inspiration from a wide array of influences ranging from classic ‘80s rock to modern top 40 pop and indie sensibilities. The band’s signature approach—defined by a blend of buoyant, infectious hooks and raw emotional directness—remains at the forefront of their evolving sound.
Reflecting on the creative process, the band shared that “Lips” was a track they had been working on since their previous record. “We wrote the chorus while we were working on the last record and tried to finish it but just couldn’t crack the code,” they explained. “We’re glad we revisited it this time around because we’re really happy with how it turned out. ‘Lips’ sounds like us but feels like a different version of who we are.”
Vocalist Jansen Hogan added insight into the development of “Parachute,” which was written alongside collaborator Ricky Manning. “I remember it feeling really effortless finding the right words the day we wrote it,” Hogan noted. “There’s something really nice about falling in love with no strings attached and this song embodies that lyrically. We found our way back to our rock era, nailed an anthemic chorus, and told a story with ‘Parachute.’”
In support of the new album, The Wldlfe will embark on the “Long Way Home Tour ‘26,” beginning October 17 in Orlando, Florida, and concluding in Nashville, Tennessee, on December 4.
