Exploring the road less travelled, JYLDA (real name Gianna Gehlhar) has been across Europe experiencing different musical cultures to build her own unique sound. Growing up in Germany, she’s spent periods of her life living in California and now resides in London, where she’s curated a spellbinding live show.
She’s back wit a new track called “So Alive”. Speaking on the new single, JYLDAstates: “I wrote ‘So Alive’ during my winter isolation period in the middle of nowhere. At the time, it felt like such a surreal memory to think of going out, moving within a crowd in a club. This song is about longing for that carefree feeling which so many times throughout the pandemic has felt unreachable — and about the healing quality of dance.”
