We spotted on the music of Canadian singer, songwriter and record producer Jesse Marchant, more than three years ago, when he was releasing one of the songs included in his fourth album. Over the years, Marchant has been featured in national support slots for the Mercury Prize-Winning group Alt-J, Other Lives, Sondre Lerche, Rogue Wave, Local Natives, AA Bondy, Damien Jurado, and many more.
He is currently living in New York City, and he has announced the release of his fifth studio album Antelope Running, out later on this summer; “Go Lightly” is the first excerpt. Listen below and check also the intimate live version.
