Four years after Become Zero, American cellist and composer Alison Chesley aka Helen Money has released new album called Atomic in 2020, out via Thrill Jockey Records. She uses the instrument to access and channel the extremities of human emotion, employing extensive sonic manipulation and an array of plucking and bowing techniques to summon an astonishing breadth and depth of sound.
She has shared a new video for the track “Many Arms“. It was directed by Matt Walker.
