New York based, Ambient duo GROWING (Kevin Doria and Joe DeNardo) have announced the release of a new album called Diptych which will be out on April 30th via Silver Current Records. According to the press release, it is a masterclass in slowly undulating ambient drift, and quite possibly the definitive headphone album of the year. Guitars that sound like organs pointed at the heavens are cut with subtly damaged electronic moves, with the end result being a record that is at once ecstatic, transportive and gritty.
