Minneapolis-born, LA-based Morly (Katy Morley) was one of our favorite best new act that we introduced in 2015. Now she has released her debut album called Til I Start Speaking which is out now via Cascine. According to the press release, it charts this journey of empowerment across 10 gentle anthems of soul and self-realization, to be shared and leaned on in low times or late nights.
She describes the creation process as almost a “subconscious exorcism,” casting out old ghosts and outgrown loves. Listen below.
