Claire Rousay is an experimental musician and composer who currently lives in San Antonio, Texas. Her performances and recordings explore human relationships and self perception. She has released a new album called A Softer Focus which is out now via American Dream Records.
According to the press release, she teamed up with longtime friend and fellow San Antonio-based artist, Dani Toral, to create all of the visual elements for the album, including a set of ceramic flutes that are being sold with the release. a softer focus represents a bold step forward for both artists, as they metaphorically seek to examine the act of creating itself, and the kind of focus it requires along the way.
