Gap/Void is the new collaborative album between Canadian producer and conceptual artist William Jourdain aka Automatisme and Swiss field recordist and psychogeographer Stefan Paulus. It is out now via Constellation Records. According to the press release, it features extended ambient noisescapes drawn from environmental recordings made by Paulus during various mountaineering expeditions, processed with Jourdain’s bespoke Automatisme techniques, where variable tempo and glitch systems forge more overt minimal techno/IDM works.
