Adrien Casalis is a French, Paris-based composer for film, contemporary dance, and advertising. In 2017, he wrote the soundtrack for First Love, series directed by Anthony Jorge and Jonathan Cohen, and a couple of years later, he worked closely with fashion company Givenchy on several commercials.
He’s back with a new EP called Ghost which is out today via piano and coffee records. According to the press release, Ghost —the soundtrack of a love story between a phantom and a living man— is a carefully-crafted project that invites the listener to submerge into Casalis’ newly discovered musical universe: a raw, melancholic experience inspired by his love for piano and adorned with a variety of cinematic layers and textures.
