Hands down one of the most versatile producers on our label, Boyan is time and time full of surprises.
From drum and bass though disco and chillhop, his new sonic endevour is in the world of dance / electronica. When he first sent me “Valley Of Roses”, I was mind-blown. Nature-inspired chimes, deep house / electronica elements, strings and chopped Bulgarian traditional vocals which add a scent of mystery to this pulsating track. It really reminded me of Bonobo’s “Otomo” and BICEP’s “Apricots” – 2 tracks I fell in love with last year.
The track is part of his upcoming Unfold EP which will… well, unfold in the next few months via our label.
Cool fact – the artwork is based on a photo he took himself.
“Unfold is the natural musical evolution of my 2021 Closure EP. It’s a sonic manifestation of the “one door closes, another one opens” saying., shares Boyan.
