Earlier this year we had the chance to get a taste of Andrew Rothschild’s album Forest Blue in the form of “Lokta” and “Nature Therapy” which Nasko featured.
The Loci Records release contains 7 wonderful ambient / downtempo compositions among which I found my personal love – “Unalome”. The track kicks off with a muffled piano but quickly delves into a rather mystic and haunting vibe, a perfect fit to the misty forest from album’s artwork.
Fun fact – I’ve been watching Netflix’s Black Spot which takes place in a haunting and very eerie forest. I honestly can’t think of a better soundtrack to this series.
I also want to give Andrew mad props for the perfectly chopped vocals on this track. I’m sucker for such things and this was just the cherry on the top.
