As a writer I sort of feel the need to stitch together beautifully arranged sentence to describe why you need to listen to this, however if we were in the same room together I’d be yelling “THIS IS FUCKING AMAZING MATE” and have the track on repeat for you to get the message.
What I love about this is that the feeling of the track leans towards a lo-fi house vibe, but the production isn’t laden with distortion, fuzz, or even vintage-like drums. Instead we’re welcomed to a rather pristine mix and glistening keys that breathe life into the track. The pads hovering in the background provide the track with an atmospheric veneer for a bit of a dreamy sensation while the impressive vocal chops play a bit role in keeping our attention hooked and the progression compelling.
