It’s almost as if we’re hypnotized throughout the track the way in which we’re commanded to follow along by James and Izzy’s verses.
Their vocal delivery is raw, gritty, and authoritative much like the instrumental we’re welcomed to. However a touch of soul is splattered with the presence of those dreamy keys and the beefy bass line. When it comes to the lyricism, it’s great that both are able to tell such compelling stories whilst showing glimpses of playfulness through their bars too.
