Global K-Pop powerhouse Stray Kids have released their new digital single “RUN IT” today. Serving as an anthem for the group’s continued rise on the global stage, “RUN IT” captures the unstoppable momentum that has defined Stray Kids’ journey from Seoul to worldwide superstardom. Written and produced by the group’s in-house production unit 3RACHA (Bang Chan, Changbin, and HAN), the track blends dynamic brass arrangements, marching drums, and world-beat rhythms into a powerful statement of ambition and perseverance.
Speaking about the track, Stray Kids shared, “‘RUN IT’ is an anthem that blends pop and alternative hip-hop, driven by a sense of scale and energy that reflects our expansion onto the global stage. Built around powerful brass sounds, marching drums, and world-beat rhythms, the song creates a strong sense of momentum and grandeur. The track tells a story of growth from humble beginnings to a journey that expands from ‘Seoul to the world.’ It expresses our determination to overcome challenges and limitations and ultimately move forward to victory. We hope listeners can feel the energy of Stray Kids as we continue to push forward without stopping and expanding the possibilities before us.”
The song reflects the determination of all eight members to overcome challenges and limitations as they continue pushing forward toward new milestones. With lyrics that celebrate resilience, growth, and relentless ambition, “RUN IT” transforms every achievement into the starting point for something even greater.
Accompanying the release is the official music video for “RUN IT,” which delivers a striking visual narrative built around themes of unity, momentum, and evolution. Through dramatic black-and-white imagery and scenes spanning different eras and landscapes, Stray Kids are portrayed as a force connecting past and present while charging toward the future.
“RUN IT” will also appear on Stray Kids’ upcoming mini album THIS & THAT, arriving August 7. The song additionally lends its name to the group’s forthcoming world tour, Stray Kids World Tour, following the massive success of their record-breaking World Tour, which spanned 56 shows across 35 regions around the globe.
The release arrives amid another landmark year for Stray Kids. Earlier this month, the group delivered a standout performance at The Governors Ball Music Festival in New York, further solidifying their status as one of music’s premier live acts. Later this year, they are set to perform at Rock in Rio Brazil and headline additional dates across Latin America as part of the newly launched STRAYCITY festival series.
Stray Kids continue to rewrite the record books globally. The group became the first artist in history to debut eight consecutive albums at No. 1 on the Billboard 200, while simultaneously cementing themselves as one of the most influential acts of their generation.
