Marley Carroll has created an experience that’s so easy to lose yourself in on “Stay” thanks to the mesmerizing progression we’re welcomed to.
The reverb attached to the shimmering lead creates an atmospheric warmth in the mix that I found to be quite comforting. This is complemented by a menacing bass line that carries the low end along with the gritty kick. And talking about the kick, I can’t neglect to mention how the Hip Hop influence from the rhythm section makes the track all the more fascinating as we can pinpoint the blend of different genres in particular moments.
