Reza Safinia’s “Shiva” is probably the darkest Organica track I’ve come across. The large pads tower over the listener and engulf us with its dense atmosphere.

It’s the arrival of the keys and the bass that gradually accentuate the eerie nature of the track – to the point where it feels like a track that would play as soon as you enter a massive temple. Rhythmically Reza’s choice of arrangement I also found quite fascinating thanks to the unorthodox bounce of the groove that’s subtly accentuated by tambs that continuously swirl from left to right. You can definitely tell Reza Safinia pays attention to the finer details in his craft and “Shiva” (Kali Mix) is a shining example… If you’d love to hear more from his Yang album, you can dive in below:
