Seahaven have released another new song from their long-awaited upcoming self-titled album, set for release on June 5th through Pure Noise Records. Fans can now stream and watch the new music video for the emotionally upbeat “February Flowers.” The track serves as the latest preview of the record, following the previously released single, “Midnight Hour.”
Self-produced and engineered by Alex Estrada at Pale Moon Ranch in Juniper Hills, CA, the album was mixed and mastered by Grammy Award-winning producer Will Yip. Seahaven finds the Torrance, CA band delivering what may be their most defining statement to date. The project was written primarily by vocalist and guitarist Kyle Soto, who began shaping the album in April 2025 with the track “Wedding Bells.” Working out of his home studio, Soto often completed full song outlines in a single night, embracing a creative “flow state” that allowed the music to emerge naturally.
“Clearly, there’s been a lot going on in my life over the past couple of years that I’m sorting through,” Soto explains. “I wasn’t consciously trying to put it all into songs, but I’d sit down with a guitar to see what would happen, and I’d end up writing.”
Once the initial ideas were solidified, Soto brought them to the rest of the band—guitarist Cody Christian, bassist Mike DeBartolo, and drummer Eric Findlay—to record at Pale Moon Ranch. The resulting album builds upon the sound Seahaven has cultivated since forming in 2009 while pushing into new emotional and sonic territory.
“This album takes elements from all of our previous releases and rolls them into one,” says Soto. “It accurately represents our sound, so it felt fitting to have it serve as a statement that says, ‘This is the sound of the band.’”
Across the tracklist, the band balances introspective lyrics with memorable hooks. Songs like “Hellbound,” “February Flowers,” and “Infinite Blue” pair emotional weight with soaring melodies, while quieter moments such as “Remember Me” and the closing track “Companion” explore themes of memory, loss, and the fragile nature of life.
The band is currently gearing up for a run of live shows in the UK and Europe, which kicks off on April 20. A full list of upcoming dates is available on their official website.
