Saosin is back—and ready to hit the ground running. The band has officially signed to Sumerian Records, joining an illustrious roster that includes heavy hitters like Bad Omens, Poppy, and Hollywood Undead. This partnership marks a significant new chapter for the group, as they have also unveiled their first new music in over a decade.

The release is particularly momentous as it features the band’s current lineup—guitarists Beau Burchell and Phil Sgrosso, bassist Chris Sorenson, and drummer Alex Rodriguez—reunited with vocalist Cove Reber. Reber, who first joined the fold in 2004, was the voice behind the band’s first two studio albums, including the certified gold single “You’re Not Alone.”

A Fresh Start with Familiar Fire

The new single, “Starting Over Again,” serves as an explosive return to form. It also represents the first major collaborative effort involving Phil Sgrosso, who has been a member of the group since 2016. In a move that highlights the band’s commitment to creative autonomy, Sgrosso and Burchell handled all production and mixing duties for the track, ensuring the final sound remained entirely under their control.

“‘Starting Over Again’ is our first new music in over a decade, and it came from the fans calling for it and us realizing the timing finally felt right. The chemistry in this lineup is undeniable, and everything just clicked,” the band shares. “This song is exactly what the title says. A reset, but with more clarity, more urgency, and way more fire behind it. It feels like the start of something big for us, not a throwback, but a step forward.”

Global Touring Plans

Fans worldwide can look forward to seeing the band live throughout the year. Saosin is set to embark on a tour this month across New Zealand and Australia, followed by dates in Southeast Asia and a highly anticipated appearance at the Slam Dunk Festival in the UK. The band will also perform at the Vans Warped Tour in Mexico City and the Aftershock Festival in Sacramento, before setting sail on the Emo’s Not Dead Cruise in early 2027.
