Oldschool vibes with New York flavour, brought to you by Spoiled Suede.

The nostalgic soulful samples he used, combined with the uplifting percussion, make the track quite vibey and enjoyable. “Rose Gold” is part of the Brooklyn-based hip hop producer’s debut beat tape – Krusted Kool-Aid. He elaborates:

The idea behind Krusted Kool-Aid was to put together a handful of beats that sound like they make sense, together. I’ve moved away from sampling soul records, but it felt right. New York was slowly coming back to life from Covid-19. The sounds, smells, and sights began to feel familiar again. The lush, but dirty samples mixed with the hard-hitting breaks brought to mind sipping on a nutcracker or a snow cone on Eastern Parkway.
