You know ’em, you love ’em – Jungle are back (like they ever went away) with yet another brilliant track, making all of us even more impatient for their upcoming album Loving In Stereo.
The British duo teamed up with Paris-born and NY-raised rapper Bas to deliver the stellar masterpiece that is “Romeo”. Blending old-school boom-bap grooves with some modern flows in an uplifting fashion, the track acts as both a playful summer anthem and a pure hip-hop earworm. Bas further elaborates on the collaboration:
“I’ve always been on a mission to work with artists whose sounds and worlds inspire me beyond rap’s sonic landscape. Jungle has been on his list of artists to work with for seven years. I was and still am completely blown away by their music”
In a typical Jungle fashion, this track is accompanied by a stunningly choreographed and produced music video, combining dancers in an abandoned warehouse with the sunlight coming in for that extra cinematography goodness.
