I discovered Alann8h’s talent earlier this year with the release of his single “Damsel in Distress” and I was enchanted in the rawness of the voice of the up-and-coming singer who just landed on Spotify’s New Music Friday playlist.
Today we get to experience her brand new 6-track EP Apollo 8 and naturally I had to rush to share with you the opening track “Rings of Saturn”. Blending bedroom pop and spacious synths, the track is this beautiful gender-less melancholia everyone could soak into it. There’s something raw and pure at the same time and that’s what made me obsess with it instantly.
