Today, we’re honoured to host on our label a beautiful piece of work crafted by São Paulo-based producer, Gabriel Moraes, AKA Epifania.
We’ve had the pleasure of working together in the past, and the Evermore EP is a nice continuous of the things we’ve built together in the past.
The sound is rooted in the Brazilian producer’s signature mellow lo-fi aesthetic. It is effortlessly blending all the main elements of the genre such as tape warping and crispy white noise with beautiful instrumentation full of smooth guitars, rich keys, and vocal melodies, all performed and produced immaculately. With its serene and introspective concept, Evermore perfectly represents Epifania’s sound while allowing him to convey a calm and hopeful feeling to his listeners.
I decided to highlight “Pretty Eyes” which features long-time collaborator Devon Rea. What I love about it the most is the beautifully sounding vocals which really calm me down.
