As a follow-up to my Aparde feature from this weekend, I wanted to share with you more of his work.

In this dark and spacious sonic journey, Aparde takes on the work of another fellow Berliner – pianist and composer Lambert. This is the first time I hear about the art of the contemporary musician, but let me tell you – calling it gorgeous does not do enough justice. The original “Porcelain” is a lushful, spacious and intimate piece every person, regardless of their genre preferences, should experience.

Going back to Aparde’s re-imagination, the producer adds a feel of dark electronica with spacious, but thick kick work. It’s haunting, lonesome and in the same time – somehow weirdly familiar.
