When I heard the first lines, I was absolutely sure this was Moonchild.
Turns out it’s the gorgeous Mágdala, this time collaborating with Joon’s Second Life, a London-based multi-instrumentalist, songwriter & producer whose name comes from overcoming a fatal intestine loss in 2016.
The magic happened completely remotely and resulted in a soul-drenched jazz piece that “explores the realm of newly emerged media for consuming information and their impact on the division of current societies”.
“Polarised” is the 3rd single of Joon’s upcoming album Tales and Tellers.
