Right after the hushed voice utters “Say something”, Sleepover’s latest release “Nothing” immediately envelops the listener with its hazy atmosphere and jazzy vibes.
U.S. based producer Sleepover mentions that with track – along with the EP – he’s aiming for Adult Swim vibes and as soon as I saw that description – I got all nostalgic. I loved the soothing presence of the sax and the switch up keeps the progression engaging, especially since it comes out of nowhere. I can definitely imagine this as a backtrack in an episode of The Boondocks!
