There’s certain dreaminess in Modyst‘s work. And in his new piece “Melatonin”, produced by Arcade Wolf, he explores various topics around dreaming.

A majestic combination of keys, beats and effortless flow, separated into two distinctive parts. He elaborates:

The first part is one having random thoughts (some small, some deep, some that may not make sense) in the period between being awake and asleep (called hypnagogia), as many people do. The second part of the song is meant to illicit the experience of a falling dream and describes some common nuances that we all experience during dreams.

Hope this song puts you in a dream state.
