Going into this, I honestly expected to be enveloped by a barrage of glitchy synth works since Kilamanzego’s tracks generally sound otherworldly. But this is probably the most calming track I’ve heard yet from the Philly based producer.
It’s the woozy, oscillating synth in the background which gives off this serene effect, and the lavish arrangement of the keys accentuates this. Halfway through the track Kilamanzego introduces bright percussive textures to give the drums some swing along with this piercing lead synth which sits firmly in the foreground.
