“Maybe” was written at a time when I was going through a lot at home with my family. I used that time to record a lot of music to get my mind away from what was happening at home. I was able to get all of my emotions out into the music. The song is about not being afraid to be unapologetically yourself, to have hope about the future and that better days will come, despite how you may be feeling at that moment in time.
