On the heels of his Top 10 debut album Orchid, independent singer/songwriter Matt Hansen is back with his new single “Unspoken.” The track follows in the footsteps of his recent single “THINKING BOUT ME,” leaning into a brighter, more uplifting side of his songwriting as he trades heartbreak for the promise of a love that’s beginning to unfold.

The new single follows Matt’s recent debut album Orchid, which has quickly amassed more than 1 billion streams worldwide. Upon its release earlier this summer, the project landed at #6 on Spotify’s Top Albums Debut USA chart, anchored by standout hits “LET EM GO,” “something to remember,” and “yellowstone (holding you),” which are currently racking up nearly half a million streams per day. The album’s breakout success also propelled Matt to his national television debut on The TODAY Show.

Next up, Matt will hit the road on The Orchid Tour, making 35 stops across the UK, Europe, Canada, and the U.S., with the North American leg kicking off on November 11th in Quebec City.

A Growing Global Presence

Matt Hansen has fostered a worldwide community of more than 6 million monthly Spotify listeners and 5 million followers by reframing vulnerability not as weakness, but as a powerful point of shared experience and connection. Initially breaking through with raw, stripped-down covers of 90s and early 2000s classics like “Yellow” and “Iris” on TikTok, that organic connection translated into a breakout original catalog that has amassed more than 1 billion streams and a commanding live presence. Over the past few years, he’s headlined sold-out tours across three continents, as well as opening for artists including Teddy Swims, Lauv, Train, and Alec Benjamin. His newly announced 2026 headline tour marks his latest run of headlining dates since spring 2025.
