The wait is finally over for MORE THAN YOU CAN GIVE, the highly anticipated new EP from emo punk band Live Well. Consisting of three distinct tracks—“GOOD ONES,” “KIDS,” and the latest single, “IDK”—the project serves as a poignant bridge between the band’s earlier work and their current evolution. Originally penned six years ago, these songs mark the group’s first official release since their 2019 debut, Perfectly Temporary.
Reflecting on the creative process, front man Paul Masbad notes that revisiting these tracks felt like a journey through time. “MORE THAN YOU CAN GIVE is made up of songs written 6 years ago,” Masbad shares. “Revisiting them now was like traveling back in time and having a conversation with our past selves. Each song is a representation of who I was, who I am, and who I want to become. It’s the band’s past, present, and future in eight minutes.”
The release of MORE THAN YOU CAN GIVE coincides with the band’s recent return to the live stage. Live Well recently completed a run of four shows in three days, sharing the stage with a vibrant community of peers including For Lack Of A Term, Career Day, Cellmate, Girls Wish, Ghost Tour, and Phantoms and Fables. As the band continues to build momentum, fans can stay updated on future announcements and tour dates via their official linktree.
