If you know me, I’m sure you know that I come from that old-school boom-bap sound. And “Knockturnal” is a classic example of that vibe!
Remulak and Jazz T got together and absolutely smashed this instrumental; banging drums, cold cuts, and gritty samples. The drums knock super hard and still have a clean sound, it’s so impressive!
Justo the MC brought those lyrics reminiscent of the 90s sound. The flows, the lyrics, the voice; this guy has it all. I love how he worked around the theme, and his rhyme schemes are absolutely crazy. I really felt this one.
So if you’re into that raw conscious hip-hop I’d definitely recommend tuning in and checking out these dope artists!
