Multi-instrumentalist/producer, Tonga, takes us on an uplifting journey with his new single.
“inbetween” exhibits a smooth blend of immaculate jazz harmonies and knocking drums full of interesting fills and other cool embellishments. Soft synth lines, soulful guitar, and beautiful Rhodes progressions flow together effortlessly, which gives the track a vintage feel.
The track then transitions to a super well-performed piano solo. It showcases jazzy licks and excitement that sit perfectly in the pocket of the groove. I also really love the bass in this part of the song, so smooth!
