Australia represents!

Today we’re blessed with a tune featuring our favourite Jian (Kyson), Merryn Jeann and OSOO – the main protagonist of this blog post. “I’m Always Waitin’” is the second single from her forthcoming album Shade Under Your Hands and fuses elements of soul and r&b with sparkling keys, thick layers of lo-fi synthesizers, soulful bass lines and tape noise.

“An airless atmosphere, a shape – an explosion. A release.”

This is not the first time Kyson and OSOO have worked together. Their history dates all the way back to 2015 in Berlin. Later on, in 2016 the two paired up with drummer/producer Chris Hill. Together the three embarked on a journey to create an LP together in Adelaide, Australia. ‘I’m Always Waitin’ was one of the first songs the group worked on during this trip and eventually the song became a large part of the foundation and inspiration for the creation of the rest of the album as OSOO.
