I absolutely love how he’s retained the moody nature of the original as he furnishes large, immersive pads around Washed Out’s dreamy vocals. Infact, the overall progression is a noteworthy feature here as it feels like a journey we can ease ourselves into, or simply groove along to especially with the presence of those upbeat drums.
