Jay Cass’ “Heaven” couldn’t have come at a better time! Its infectious groove along with its overall radiance complements the summer season perfectly.
At first listen this comes across as such a vibe, however when you start peeling the layers back and looking closer we’re welcomed to a beautifully produced body of work with stellar sound design bringing the track to life. When it came to the rhythm section I loved the unorthodox bounce and bright claps that glue the drums together along with the beefy kicks. The colorful cover art beautifully personifies this listening experience.
