Kicking in this week with something dreamy that’ll take your mind to Hawaii.

“Hawaii” is not the typical summery jam – rather a trip somewhere far that will uplift your consciousness through ethereal vocal samples, airy pads, and deep beatwork. Australian producer Matt Lavars elaborates:

“Hawaii” is the type of song you would play either to open or close a set. My intention was to write a track that takes me back to that feeling of listening to deep house while on a tropical island with your friends.
My music is inspired by classic trance like Gabriel & Dresden with their remix of ‘As the Rush Comes’ or Kyau & Alberts remix of Cressida’s hit ‘6am but turned down a notch and then mixed with atmospheric sounds inspired by classical music and film score legends like Hanz Zimmer.

Especially if you happen to be fans of Bicep, embrace this progressive electronica for the soul – the perfect way to start the working week in summer.
