Something that really blew me away on Jimpster’s rendition of “H.O.Y.L” is the manner in which the vocals were introduced.

At the 0:55 mark, the vocals are heavily manipulated and then pitched shifted to introduce the soothing lead vocals that appear sparsely throughout the track. Another section I was quite enamored by was the bridge thanks to the presence of the thick, balmy pads adorned with disco-reminiscent strings. If you’re a producer this is definitely the kind of track where you’d be pausing and frequently asking yourself “damn, how did he do that”. The virtuosity displayed by Jimpster on here is absolutely superb!
