What I really enjoyed about Fabich’s latest collaboration with Dana Williams is the paradoxical nature between the lyrics, and the overall vibe we’re introduced to.
The instrumental presents itself as a feel good jam and even though the entire track is – the songwriting tells a story of escaping an unpleasant romance in such a soulful manner. I particularly loved the second verse when Dana exhibits her vocal range as her voice soars highly over the florid guitar arrangements just before we’re revisited by the catchy hook.
