The lofi gem “Flying Fish Fedora” serves as the debut single of the Berlin based-painter, producer and singer, Alita Limona.
What I find fascinating is how she exhibits the bond between her paintings and her music as “Flying Fish Fedora” is based on one of her artworks. The feeling of weightlessness is seamlessly induced thanks to the serene strings (definitely my favorite part) and the lofty vocal delivery that actually repeats the phrase “flying”.
Flying Fish Fedora is 1 part of a 3 track EP entitled, ‘Jelly Sea EP’, that depicts the story of a jealous mermaid that hides from view to spy on her partner and all the emotions that arise from this experience.
